This tribute to the NES era is currently in development by Tribute Games (Flinthook, Mercenary Kings) and is aimed for a release next year (Spring 2020)
Tribute Games, known for releases like Flinthook and Mercenary Kings, announced that Panzer Paladin is now in development.
An 8-bit style action-platformer, players will make sure of swordplay with the Paladin power armor. Players will be able to seize melee weapons from demonic invaders and deliver some swift karma. There will be high versus low attacking and blocking, a rock-paper-scissor weapon-type system that will provide attack bonuses, and the ability to cast spells through the destruction of weapons.
According to Tribute’s game designer Jonathan Lavigne:
